Calvin Ball finished second in the 10,000 meters to lead McDaniel to a seventh-place finish at the Hopkins-Loyola Invitational.

Carlos Hernandez finished ninth in the shot put to lead McDaniel at the Millersville Metrics. Hernandez was the highest placefinisher for the Green Terror with his throw of 13.36 meters in the shot put.

Chuck Kronmiller, a senior, has been named the Centennial Conference Field Athlete of the Week for the week of Mar. 23-31.

Chuck Kronmiller won the javelin to lead McDaniel to a second-place finish at the Goucher Invitational. The Green Terror amassed 147.67 points to finish second to Salisbury, which won the meet with 332.33 points.

McDaniel College has announced its Dean’s List from the Fall 2011 semester and 101 Green Terror student-athletes, including 30 first-semester students, qualified for the honors.
